Greener Schools - Free Help

Are you having difficulty finding information and the resources to get things started?

Free help is at hand. Schools and Children's Centres in the London Borough of Sutton and Borough of Epsom and Ewell can get free, professional quality support.

The Greener Schools Network has been set up by EcoLocal with the help of a retired local secondary school teacher, Hazel Gurr. The Support Network offers local schools help in developing environmental projects. So far over 60 schools and Children's Centres have benefitted from this project.

We can provide free help with ...

• designing a new school wildlife area

• rejuvenating an old school garden

• sensory gardens

• sourcing materials

• what to plant & when to plant

• ideas to get the whole school involved

• setting up a green group

For more information, or an informal chat, contact Hazel Gurr:
